Days 1-3: Your trip to Indonesia begins in Jakarta. After some exploring, you’ll hop on a plane to Yogyakarta, enjoying a chilled-out evening before your adventure begins. Visit the world’s largest Buddhist monument, Borobudur, and admire the mighty stone monuments before wandering around the picturesque village of Candirejo. Day 4: This morning, you’ll discover the craft of Kris making, witnessing first-hand how these spiritual daggers are forged from iron. After some more exploring, you’ll travel to the Prambanan, soaking up the ornate architecture of these towering Hindu temples. Days 5–6: An epic railway journey is on today’s agenda. You’ll weave past volcanoes and emerald-topped terrain as you travel from Yogyakarta to Mojokerto. The next day, you’ll wake up early to catch mystical views of Mount Bromo at sunrise, gazing across the landscape from the rim of Mount Penanjakan. Day 7: Your action-packed Bali trip kicks off in peaceful Ubud. Observe more traditional craftsmanship, visit an active volcano, step inside the legendary Elephant Cave, and go in search of wildlife at the Ubud Monkey Forest.

Keep the tranquil energy going as you transfer to Mengwi to see the beautiful temple complex before witnessing one of the ‘seven sea temples’ at Tanah Lot.

Days 10-12: After driving to Seminyak, you’ll have a whole day to spend however you’d like. Then, you’ll hit the ocean, embarking on an exciting, wildlife-filled boat cruise to Komodo National Park. Spot deer, buffalo, horses, fruit bats and, of course, Komodo dragons. Days 13-14: See the clifftop Uluwatu Temple and watch the waves before toasting your trip with a delicious seafood dinner. While it might be hard to say goodbye to Indonesia, it’s time to return home. Relax and enjoy your onward travels, reminiscing on your incredible journey.
