INDONESIA Days 6-9: Meet Borneo’s native Iban people, journeying down the river by longboat to meet a local family. Days 10-12: After following the forest trails of Kinabalu Park, you’ll head to Sandakan, which is packed with historic attractions. You’ll then have another chance to spot orangutans at Sepilok before embarking on a wildlife river cruise. Days 13-16: This morning, you’ll discover the serenity of Oxbow Lake before slowly returning to Kota Kinabalu, marking the end of your epic adventure.

Days 1-3: Your first stop in Borneo is the exciting city of Kuching. You’ll explore historic museums and stroll through picturesque streets before enjoying a local coffee-tasting workshop and visiting a traditional Malay village. Days 4-5: The next few days are all about wildlife. Venture into Bako National Park, keeping an eye out for macaques and proboscis monkeys. Then, it’s off to Semenggoh Nature Reserve – a rehabilitation centre for young orangutans.
