PHILIPPINES Days 14-15: Arrive back in Tokyo for a full day and night of independent exploration before departing on your onward flight the following morning. Days 9-10: Spend time in Hiroshima, honour the fallen in Peace Memorial Park and learn about the city’s tragic past at Hiroshima Museum. Day 11: Arrive in Osaka, a lively city known for buzzing entertainment venues and outstanding cuisine, and sample octopus dumplings streetside or delicate sushi in intimate dining venues. Days 12-13: Leave the cities behind as you head to the hot springs of Hakone. Admire the surrounding lakes, historical sites and, of course, Mount Fuji.
HONG KONG Days 1-3: Touchdown in Tokyo! Soak up the city’s atmosphere during a guided city tour, travel down the river by water bus and visit a traditional matcha tea house. Days 4-5: Board Japan’s famous bullet train before transferring onto the Hida Limited Express, Wide View Hida, to Takayama. Upon arrival, sip on sake and stroll through the UNESCO-listed Shirakawa-go village. Days 6-8: Arrive in Kyoto, a hub of Japanese culture, brimming with beautiful gardens, thousands of shrines and intricate temples. Travel by bullet train across Japan and tick off some of the country’s most loved destinations, including Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
