Your journey begins in Chicago, travelling through Illinois to the Ozark Highlands of southern Missouri. Cut through the southeastern corner of Kansas on your way to Oklahoma, followed by a stop in Texas and then New Mexico. After passing through the iconic sights of Arizona, your Historic Route 66 trip concludes in sunny California. Chicago, St. Louis & Springfield With a wealth of shops and parks to explore in Chicago, make a point to stop by Will’s Tower, one of the tallest buildings in North America. Collect your rental car ready to cruise through the endless cornfields and prairies, following in the footsteps of legendary explorers. Continue through the Ozark Highlands to Springfield and lose yourself in its beauty. Tulsa, Oklahoma City & Amarillo En route to Oklahoma City, stop to view the giant Blue Whale in Catoosa, one of Route 66’s many landmarks. Check out the old motels, vintage buildings and gas stations on your way to Amarillo. You can experience six decades of Route 66 history at its dedicated museum in Clinton. Whilst in Amarillo, be sure to visit the Cadillac Ranch, which has a unique display of colourful Cadillac cars buried nose-down in the ground. Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Holbrook & Grand Canyon Spend a day exploring Albuquerque’s central avenue, another treasure trove of the route’s landmarks. To

Las Vegas, Santa Monica & Los Angeles Leave the town of Williams and the Grand Canyon behind you as you head west to the dazzling city of Las Vegas. From the casino-lined strip, bright neon lights and world-class dining to the designer boutiques, there is so much to enjoy. Set out in the morning to Calico Ghost Town in the Mojave Desert and discover this forgotten mining community. Continue to Los Angeles and take in the sights of West Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
