Arriving in vibrant Mexico City, get ready to explore and soak up the culture. A tour will help you familiarise yourself with the city, see the presidential palace, Zócalo and the Catedral Metropolitana. Explore Coyoacán, a district of Mexico City that has a slower pace of life. Other attractions include the Frida Kahlo Casa Azul Museum, the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe and an excursion to Teotihuacán, a significant archaeological site. After a busy few days in the city, take a flight to the Yucatán. In Mérida, enjoy a tour through the charming streets and see the horse-drawn carriages. Then discover the Grand Pyramid of Uxmal, an impressive site with decorated façades and vast terraces. Not far away is the Palace of Masks, named after its side that is completely covered in masks of the rain god Chaac. Over the last couple of days, enjoy a boat trip to observe flamingos, explore the ruins of Dzibilchaltún, see the pyramid temple of Kinich Kakmó and finish with a tour of Chichén Itzá.
