BALLESTAS ISLANDS AND NAZCA LINES Stay in Paracas for two nights, from here, you can experience both the Ballestas Islands and the mesmerising Nazca Lines. Take a sightseeing flight over the incredible Nazca Lines to see the many geoglyphs which represent animals and stylised plants, engraved in the earth more than 2,000 years ago. The following day, take a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands where you can see thousands of birds, sea lions and seals. See the train cemetery, visit an artisanal salt production plant and admire giant cacti that reach up to ten meters high. The next day, visit Laguna Colorada, a protected area with over 30,000 flamingos. Also enjoy Chalviri lagoons hot springs, and stop for amazing views in the high desert of Pampas de Dali. From Cusco head to Puno to experience Lake Titicaca. En route, enjoy the landscapes of the Southern Valley of Cusco.
