Spend a week exploring the enchanting Galapagos Islands on the beautiful Aqua Mare luxury superyacht. Sailing from Baltra Island, explore some of the fascinating islands in the Galapagos archipelago. On Genovesa Island, view fur seals resting on volcanic rocks and see red-footed boobies. At Chino Island, you might get to see sea lions and penguins, and in the water, you can enjoy snorkelling, stand-up paddleboarding, or kayaking. On Santa Cruz Island, the second largest in the Galapagos, explore Dragon Hill, so named as scientists found a healthy population of land iguanas here in 1975. Visit the nature reserve where giant tortoises roam in their natural habitat. On Espanola Island, see unique wildlife, including lava lizards and waved albatross. You might also get another opportunity to spot sea lions. Next, visit one of the oldest islands in the Galapagos, Santa Fe Island. Starting in Quito, a city surrounded by snow-capped mountains and bursting with churches and monasteries. Enjoy a sightseeing city tour, visit the old town, learn about the culturally diverse history and sample Ecuadorian chocolate. Heading southwards, travel along the ‘Avenue of the Volcanoes’ and take in the stunning views of Cotopaxi Volcano, one of the highest volcanoes in the world. Then walk down the inside of a crater to visit Quilotoa Lagoon, explore the different flora and fauna and meet the indigenous community that lives nearby. Travel through Cotopaxi National Park and then visit the Salasaca Indigenous people, who have preserved their original traditions. You can also find Inca complexes in Ecuador, explore Ingapirca, one of the most important and well-preserved in the country. Learn how the site was constructed and the spiritual significance it held. Once you reach Cuenca, enjoy a city tour of this architecturally beautiful city. The last destination is Guayaquil. On the drive there, you will notice the change in scenery to lowlands filled with rice, cacao, and banana plantations.
