volcanoes, and take in historic cities and shared moments with locals. After meeting your fellow travellers in Antigua, Guatemala, travel through the lush scenery inland towards Honduras. Spend some time exploring the charming town of Copan. The following day, a local guide will take you to explore the World Heritage-listed ruins of Copan. Next, arrive in Suchitoto, El Salvador, and enjoy an orientation walk of the town, widely considered the country’s cultural capital. After working up an appetite, join a cooking class to learn how to make pupusa (cornmeal flatbread), which is a classic Salvadoran recipe. Whilst in Suchitoto, you will also visit a local designer’s home for an indigo dyeing demonstration. The beach is calling for an afternoon of relaxation on the Pacific coast, offering a chance to unwind on the stunning black-sand beaches of El Salvador. The next morning, arrive in Leon, Nicaragua, and tour the city’s murals and contemporary architecture. Carrying on to Granada, a city set on the shores of Lake Nicaragua and surrounded by active volcanoes. Explore the leafy Parque Central and La Calzada, a busy street with bars and restaurants. Enjoy a free day in Granada, hike up Mombacho Volcano or explore the islets on Lake Nicaragua by boat.

The last country on this itinerary is Costa Rica. Start in Monteverde, where you can explore the renowned cloud forest, home to hundreds of bird species and unique mammals. You’ll also get to experience the rainforest with a stay in La Fortuna, where the massive Arenal Volcano looms over the town. Choose how you want to explore with a free day; head to the Arenal hanging bridges park and look out for animals, take a hike to La Fortuna Waterfalls or enjoy some relaxation at Baldi Hot Springs. Your trip ends in the capital, San Jose, where you can toast to an amazing adventure.
